Who We Are
The Association of Pentecostal Vocational and Training Institutions of Kenya (APVOTIK) is a national-level professional body uniting Pentecostal, Evangelical, and Charismatic institutions, along with indigenous and individual theologians.
Our membership includes vocational training centers, Bible colleges, and theological institutions dedicated to holistic theological education, high occupational standards, and lifelong Christian ministry training.
We are committed to:
- Promoting sound Pentecostal doctrine.
- Fostering collaboration among member institutions.
- Encouraging ethical leadership and moral integrity.
- Developing competent Christian ministers and leaders who can positively transform society.
APVOTIK serves as a platform for networking, resource sharing, and joint development initiatives. We also work alongside like-minded organizations and relevant government agencies to ensure inclusivity and compliance with national educational frameworks.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be the premier network of Pentecostal vocational training institutions in Kenya, recognized for excellence in Christian education and ministry.
We aspire to produce Spirit-filled, morally upright, and professionally competent ministers and leaders with the skills and character to impact society — both nationally and globally.
We will be a leading influencer in social transformation, a trusted partner in Christian education, and a recognized standard-bearer of Pentecostal values and occupational excellence.
Our Mission
Our mission is to uphold and advance biblical, ethical, and professional standards in Christian leadership and vocational education across Pentecostal, Evangelical, and Charismatic institutions in Kenya.
We aim to equip ministers-in-training morally, physically, mentally, and spiritually, producing leaders who serve with integrity, spiritual empowerment, and excellence.
Through collaboration, advocacy, research, and resource mobilization, APVOTIK strives to raise the quality of Christian ministry and vocational training — locally and internationally — while making a tangible, positive impact on communities.
Statement of Faith
We are rooted in Pentecostal theology and guided by:
- The authority of Scripture.
- Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The baptism and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
- Commitment to holiness and Christian service.
- Upholding ethical and scholarly standards in all areas of ministry and education.
Our faith is not only taught but demonstrated — in word, in practice, and in lifestyle.
